Ride Gudauri Terms and Conditions
General Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings and services offered by Ride Gudauri, including ski lessons, adventure activities, transportation, and other related services.
By making a booking or participating in an activity organized by Ride Gudauri, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Booking
Bookings can be made through our website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, or any other communication channel authorized by Ride Gudauri.
The customer is required to provide accurate information, including:
- Name and contact information
- Number of participants
- Desired activity
- Preferred date and time
- Any relevant information that may affect participation
A booking is considered confirmed once Ride Gudauri has confirmed it and, where applicable, the required booking fee has been paid.
Booking Fee
The booking fee varies depending on the service.
Ski School Services
When booking ski school services, you may be required to pay 20% of the total service cost in advance.
Other Activities
For other activities, a booking fee of GEL 50 to GEL 200 per activity session may apply, depending on the selected activity or package.
The exact amount will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
Non-Refundable Booking Fee
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the booking fee is non-refundable.
This applies both to cancellations or rescheduling requested by the customer and to cases where an activity cannot take place due to weather or other circumstances beyond Ride Gudauri’s reasonable control.
Where possible, Ride Gudauri may offer an alternative date, activity, or other option, subject to availability and the specific circumstances.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, the remaining balance must be paid at the meeting point before the activity begins.
Available payment methods may include:
- Cash
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Any other payment method accepted by Ride Gudauri
Payment terms may vary depending on the activity or service provider.
We recommend confirming the applicable payment details with the Ride Gudauri team before participation.
Customer Cancellation
Customers should notify Ride Gudauri as early as possible if they wish to cancel or change a booking.
Cancellation requests can be submitted using the contact information provided on our website.
Any booking fee already paid is generally non-refundable.
If no advance payment has been made, no refund issue arises; however, early notification is required to allow for the effective management of instructors, equipment, transportation, and other service providers.
Rescheduling
Requests to change the date or time of a booking are subject to availability.
Ride Gudauri will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee that the preferred alternative date or time will be available.
An additional fee may apply if a third-party service provider charges an additional amount for changing a booking.
Weather and Activity Conditions
Many Ride Gudauri services depend on weather, snow, road, mountain, and other environmental conditions.
An activity may be modified, postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled if conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable.
Safety-related decisions may be made by Ride Gudauri, an instructor, guide, pilot, transportation company, or other qualified service provider.
Ride Gudauri cannot guarantee that a weather-dependent activity will take place at the exact scheduled time.
Third-Party Service Providers
Some activities offered or organized by Ride Gudauri may be provided by independent third-party companies or professionals.
Examples include:
- Paragliding
- Snowmobiling
- Transportation
- Equipment rental
- Specialized guide services
- Other adventure activities
Ride Gudauri may coordinate the booking and communication between the customer and the relevant service provider.
Customers may also be required to agree to the additional terms, safety rules, or liability documents of the relevant service provider.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are required to:
- Follow the instructions of Ride Gudauri employees, instructors, guides, pilots, drivers, and other service providers
- Act responsibly and not endanger themselves or others
- Use safety equipment in accordance with the applicable instructions
- Provide accurate information relevant to safe participation
- Arrive at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time
- Inform the instructor or service provider of any circumstances that may affect safe participation
A service provider has the right to refuse a participant’s participation if their behavior creates a safety risk or significantly interferes with the activity.
Safety
Adventure and mountain activities involve certain inherent natural risks.
Ride Gudauri and its partners take reasonable safety measures; however, participants acknowledge that skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, snowmobiling, and other mountain activities may involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Participants must follow all safety instructions.
Insurance
All guests are strongly advised to have appropriate travel and activity insurance covering the services in which they participate.
Where applicable, insurance should cover:
- Medical treatment
- Hospitalization
- Mountain rescue
- Emergency evacuation
- Helicopter rescue services
- Accident-related expenses
- Activity cancellation, where covered by the insurance policy
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they have adequate insurance coverage.
Photography and Video Recording
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during certain Ride Gudauri activities.
Such materials may occasionally be used for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media channels.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos should notify Ride Gudauri staff before the activity begins.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings during activities and transportation.
Ride Gudauri is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, except where exclusion of such liability is prohibited by law.
Service Changes
Ride Gudauri may reasonably modify the activity schedule, meeting point, instructor, transportation arrangements, route, or service provider when necessary for operational, weather, safety, or availability reasons.
In the event of a significant change, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.
Limitation of Liability
Ride Gudauri will use reasonable efforts to provide services in accordance with the described conditions.
However, Ride Gudauri is not responsible for delays, cancellations, disruptions, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather conditions
- Dangerous mountain conditions
- Road closures
- Transportation disruptions
- Government restrictions
- Natural events
- Equipment or infrastructure problems beyond our control
- Actions or decisions of independent third-party service providers
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information collected during the booking process or communications is processed in accordance with Ride Gudauri’s Privacy Policy.
Where necessary to provide the service, information may be shared with instructors, transportation companies, activity providers, payment providers, or other partners.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Ride Gudauri may periodically update these Terms and Conditions.
The current version will be published on our website.
As a general rule, a specific booking will be subject to the terms in effect at the time the booking was confirmed, unless otherwise required by law.
